Managing Users
Administrative rights are granted by Famedly. If you are unable to log in despite being authorized, please contact support@famedly.com.
Adding a User
- Log in to https://admin.famedly.de with your admin user.
- On the Instances page, click Users to the right of the instance you're managing.
- Click the blue + Button.
- Enter the user's first name, last name, and email address in the designated fields and click Create user.
- If you want to add another user, click Create another user.
Searching for a User
- Log in to https://admin.famedly.de with your admin user.
- On the Instances page, click Users to the right of the instance you're managing.
- Click the 🔍 Search input field.
- Enter the name of the user you're looking for.
Editing an Existing User
- Log in to https://admin.famedly.de with your admin user.
- On the Instances page, click Users to the right of the instance you're managing.
- If you don't see the user immediately, search for them and click Edit.
- To change the name or email address, click in the respective input field and enter the changes.
- Click the arrow to the right of the input field to confirm your change.
Changing a User's Password
- Log in to https://admin.famedly.de with your admin user.
- On the Instances page, click Users to the right of the instance you're managing.
- If you don't see the user immediately, search for them and click Edit.
- Click Reset password.
- Enter the desired password in the New password field. Make sure it's at least 8 characters long and contains uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- Re-enter the password in the Repeat password field.
- Click Reset password.
Deleting a User
A deleted user cannot be restored!
- Log in to https://admin.famedly.de with your admin user.
- On the Instances page, click Users to the right of the instance you're managing.
- If you don't see the user immediately, search for them and click Edit.
- Click Delete user.
- Click Delete user again to confirm.
